This is in from THN:
It shouldn’t come as much of a surprise, but the Tampa Bay Lightning will name Vincent Lecavalier their captain sometime in the coming weeks, a Bolts official told The Hockey News.
Its about time! It was either V4 or MSL.
Cant wait to get back from Qatar. Who would have thought that Qatar has a mall with an Olympic size skating rink. Should have brought my skates.

OK glad to see there is a schedule makes it a little easier to possibly attend given we all work during the week.
Looking forward to seeing the new faces of the Bolts. Really want to see Stamkos. I also want to see Roberts as he is considered old in hockey standards. lol I am not sure what that makes me but I am looking forward to the start of a new hockey season with the Bolts!!
Breaking the Rosies out. Go Bolts!!!

I looked at the main website and can't find anything regarding the cost for these September events. The post said that parking is free but is the event free as well? I have never been before. Where can I locate this information?

Though I agree that that the atmosphere at the ISF was great, I am OK w/ this move. Last season I drove all the way to Brandon (from St. Pete) just to be told "sorry, we're full." That sucked. Give it a chance. I just want hockey; I don't care WHERE they hold camp!

I was shocked to hear that training camp will not be at The Ice Sports Forum this year. I really enjoyed the up close and personal experience of the Brandon facility. I will keep an open mind about the new training camp and icefest but I hope this isn't just another way to rip fans off. Is there an admission fee? The training camp in Brandon was always free! I do understand the concept though. The event was growing in popularity to the point that it had outgrown the Ice sports forum. Parking is a problem there even for amature games and open public skates. It was always very crowded at the ISF and seating is very limited. I did enjoy, however standing right next to the glass while watching the scrimmage games. I hope that atmosphere is there at the sptf. I guess we will see.
