Mike13,
Really good to hear about Smaby. It was really sounding like they planned on Kreijcek over him this year. I know Don in St Pete will be happy too!

Mike13,
That is awesome news, thanks for sharing. That's impressive to hear of his GPA as well.

Heard Brian Lawton on 97X this morning. It was a pretty fun, albeit short, interview. The main takeaway for me was this:
He said that he used to be Matt Smaby's agent before he became the Lightning GM, so he knows Matt and has a really good relationship with him. He spoke very highly of Matt's abilities and touted the fact that he had a 4.0 GPA in school. He said that Matt will be back with the Bolts next season and that he was confident a deal would get done soon.

Enh, nice guy and great student of the game. Not in Raeder's class though and I wish him well.
Blackhawks signed Petiot, huh? One of the guys we gave up for him I would readily welcome back to the organization; Olaf Kolzig would be a spiff coach in Norfolk or scouting for us.

Mr.Reese is a great guy. However all of the golaies Khabibulin,Grahame, Burke etc. had the same weaknesses. Mainly standing right on the goalline.
