9 of 14 in November are against non-playoff teams from last season, that's where they can make some noise and build some confidence. There are actually 12 back to back sets, not 11 as I posted earlier. I see the long road trip in mid-December plus the 2 games before the trip and the Flers when they get back, as a key stretch of the season. If they can beat Edmonton at Home before leaving, go 4-2 on the trip and come back and beat the Flyers they could be in good position.

The first 7 out of 10 games are at home - nice! But then the next 7 out of 9 games are on the road. The bolts really need to take advantage of the early games at home.

All I want for Christmas is 42 points!
36 games; 19-13-4
I’m counting heavily on coaching to avoid, nay, reverse our usual November swoon. That's a long home stand finishing out the year. We get both Boston and the Flyers tuning up for New Year's Day. Let's beat 'em and set them on each other p!ssed off!
Down the March stretch I see us playing beatables---on paper.
The Captain must carry the torch, not the entire load.
This calls for a schnapps!
Go Bolts!

I see Oct. as giving a good look at how good the Bolts will be with 2 games each against the Canes, Sens and Devils, plus the Sharks and Pens for 1 apiece. The 6 game 11 day trip in mid-December will be tough as will 5 of 6 on the road to end March. 11 back to back sets will help insure Niitty gets a fair workload.
