Steve Harvey Comes to Tampa Bay and The Beat Radio Station Sept. 20 and 21
Steve Harvey, whose morning show displaced Olivia Fox's local program on The Beat radio station almost a year ago, is cementing his connection to the area with a local visit on Sept. 20 and 21.
Since Clear Channel's surprising move to can Fox for Harvey, Fox moved on, returning to the
Washington D.C. radio station from which she was fired before she came to Tampa. The change also meant the area lost yet another local voice in radio, as much of Fox's crew left the Beat over time and Harvey solidified his positino in the market.
Now he's swinging through town for his one-year anniversary at The Beat. Here's the press release:
"Nationally renowned morning host Steve Harvey makes his first ever appearance live in Tampa as he broadcasts his morning show live from the 95.7 THE BEAT (WBTP 95.7 FM) studios on Thursday, September 20, followed by a special live event “Breakfast with the Steve Harvey Morning Show” on Friday, September 21st in conjunction with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida and Budweiser, at the Pepin Hospitality Centre.
95.7 The Beat will be giving listeners a chance to get up close and personal with the Steve, one of the original “Kings of Comedy” and the stars of his show over the next two weeks.
The Steve Harvey Morning Show is heard weekday mornings on WBTP 95.7 The Beat as well as 50 radio stations across the country."

Dear Steve Harvey,
First of all I would like to start by saying god bless you all at the station. My delema is that I have been married now for almost twenty year and we have six kids together. I'm 37 years old and feel our marriage going down the drain. I'm working all the time and she is always busy with the kids. I understand that the kids take up most of her time, but there must be a time where My wife and I can spend some time together. I've tried everything. from trying to take her to the beach during sun down.To watching the stars and the moon. And she tells me that I'm getting more corny then ever.I raelly don't know what to do. I can try to save what we have or let it take its couses. Thanks for hearing out. Forever listening loney man
