Why I Love My Job, Reason #5: Danny Bonaduce and Jon Stewart

Exhibit A for why I sometimes love this job too much: TMZ's hot breaking news that Danny Bonaduce is a felony suspect.

According to the site: "Last night, at the FOX Reality Channel Really Awards, Bonaduce jumped on stage, picked up "Survivor" star Jonny Fairplay and slammed him on his face, causing him to lose a few teeth.

Fairplay was taken to a nearby hospital, where police were called. TMZ cameras were rolling as the bloody reality star was loaded into an ambulance. Some jerk can be heard taunting the injured Fairplay, yelling "Team Bonaduce" as he got into the ride.

Bonaduce is named as the suspect in a felony battery report." Extra has the footage, which looks as if Fairplay jumped on Bonaduce as a joke and got flipped forward on his face by the musclebound ex-child star.

Hard to know who to root for here. Bonaduce is the biggest bonehead in the world. But anyone who has watched any second of the two Survivor episodes Johnny Fairplay competed in has wished someone would do this within minutes. I would hope that they both go down in flames, but that might be wishing for too much...

Exhibit B: Last night's Daily Show, where Jon Stewart confronted Chris Matthews on his new book, comparing it to Machiavelli'sThe Prince!

A sample: "Stewart says "I'm not trashing your book, I'm trashing your philosophy of life."

Matthews later asks Stewart to come on Hardball and he says "I don't troll."

"This is the worst interview I've had in my life," Chris Matthews retorted with a tight smile. "You fear this book....you're like Zell Miller." Watch it here.

Just when you think Stewart is going to kiss up to a guy who embodies everything he hates about TV news, he spends most of the interview telling the guy his book is a load of crap. I love it.

UPDATE: Adrianne Curry  -- you know, the Caucasian model and reality TV star who says she will never support BET or Black History month again? -- sez she started the Bonaduce/Fairplay rumble on her blog....read on to see details:

Curry's quote: "The last award was being given out by Johnny Fairplay. Obviously, he doesn’t have many friends, the boo’s and garbage were flying. Danny Bonaduce whispers in my ear “Do you think I should go up there and tell him what a douche he is?” Naturally I say YES! Then he tells me “Do you want me to tackle him?” Silly me, I said “DO IT DANNY!!!” I then proceeded to cheer Danny’s name till he got up to walk onstage.

Danny waltzes onstage while Johnny is talking, puts his arm around him and says “None of these fucking people like you, man” It seemed like he was just having fun, so on I cheered him. Danny then turned around to leave the stage, which I told him to go onto, and Johnny stops him. Johnny then decided to JUMP on Danny, wraps his arms around Danny’s NECK (I already thought, WRONG MOVE BUDDY!) his legs around Danny’s waist, and then proceeds to HUMP Danny onstage. I started shaking, I HELPED THIS HAPPEN! Danny got PISSED. He grabbed Johnny, lifted him up, and THREW him over his fucking head….that aint all folks…….Johnny flew up in the air, and landed on his FACE. Yep, you heard it here ladies and gentlemen….Danny Bonaduce went up onstage because of ME, slammed Johnny Fairplay, and knocked out his front teeth! Blood was on the floor, as well as teeth.
