Four new HD channels added to Bright House Networks cable TV lineup
One of the problems local cable TV systems have had in competing with satellite TV is their lack of high definition cable channels in comparison. For example, while Bright House Networks has 39 HD channels -- including four new HD channels announced today -- DirecTV has 95 HD channels.
To that end, Bright House Networks in the Tampa Bay area today added four more HD channels. According to Bright House's press release, they are: "CNN HD on channel 728, Disney HD on channel 735, and ABC Family HD on channel 736. MGM HD launched today on the HD PAK at channel 710."
By the time the digital TV transition rolls around in February, and a flood of new HDTVs are installed in American homes, perhaps Bright House will have tipped the scales a bit more, offering an even better HD selection than right now.

When is Bright House going to start broadcasting ALL Rays games in HD? As a major sponsor for the Rays, you would think this would be a no-brainer??

Bright House continues to add HD channels across all it's Division's. I don't believe Bright House will be involved in a numbers game with other providers as far as providing the most HD content. One way of addressing that is to offer more HD video on demand programming.
