Everything's coming up Rolls Royces
Bankruptcy trustee Soneet Kapila is going after Ultimate Motor Works of Longwood, which won't give back the deposit it took from Lou Pearlman for a new Rolls Royce or a 1984 Rolls belonging to Pearlman that it has been keeping in storage. Kapila says he doesn't know how much money Pearlman put down. In her deposition, Rene Chamberlain tossed around several numbers from $17,000 to $25,000. She didn't have any success getting the money back either.
The 1984 Rolls was damaged in a car accident. Ultimate Motor Works estimated repair costs at $10,285 and also wants $2,793 in storage fee going back to Jan. 18. An auto wholesaler contacted by Ultimate Motor Works offered to buy the car "as is" for $6,500. Kapila has turned down the offer and is demanding the car back. He says storage fees before the March 1 bankruptcy filing are the same as any other debts Pearlman incurred and will only be paid by the bankruptcy process. Kapila wants the court to order the company to hand over the 1984 Rolls, the deposit on the new Rolls and all documents relating to both vehicles.
Also-The emergency hearing on Kapila's complaints against Chamberlain is scheduled for Oct. 4.

Kim are your family members going to file a civil suit against Tolner?
Isn't Cynthia out spending your money on real estate and at mall of millenia?

There is plenty of evidence to back it up. Either you can't comprehend what you read or I got it, you are one of Pearlmans cronies and you are just trying to help him out. Guess what, if the state didn't have enough evidence against him then his sorry @ss wouldn't be sitting in jail right now. Are you saying the feds don't have the evidence? If you must know, someone in my family was ripped off by Pearlman to the tune of $200K. Not that it is a whole lot of money to some people but to others it is a great deal. Pearlman himself was involved in that transaction. That is all the proof I need. Have a great day!

Yes, that's it. Pearlman is innocent folks. He had greedy people around him that did this and took all the money and he knew nothing about it. Even though he personally got people to invest he is still innocent. What a laugh that is. That is the funniest thing I've heard all day. That man doesn't know what innocent is even if it smacked him in the face. He is guilty, guilty, guilty.

I don't belive that Pearlman did this. I think he was surounded by greedy folks hanging on his coattails. They are the ones that should be sitting in jail, he is just a pawn.

Ha Ha, I'm awake. I posted a link to a story yesterday under one of the other stories that was written by Helen which shows a connection to Pearlman. Pearlman always said he was like a father to him. Just google Pearlman, Wullenkemper and you can find more information. As for pleading to one charge, I don't see that happening and I certainly don't see him getting out in 3 years. Good luck with that.

Any news about a possible connection between Pearlmann and Theodor Wüllenkemper?

Kim, wake up.
Posted by: | September 28, 2007 at 07:52 AM
He will get time served and house arrest
Posted by: | September 27, 2007 at 11:11 PM
Is he going to plead guilty to one single charge for 10 yrs?
He'd be out in 3.5 years.

Nobody even knows what Soneet's fee's are so how can you assume that the money will not cover his expenses. It is not a scam. He is doing what his job is to do and that is to look for money no matter how small or large the amount.

All of the items sold off so far will not even cover the expences of Kapila. That is the scam.

If this is the most interesting happening in the LP saga, we should give it a rest, or dig up some real news, like what is Mr. Hornberg up to? What is the state of Florida up to? If we are not careful this will be all over before it gets contested.

Damaged in an accident? Then surely Lou's car insurance should take care of the repairs.
Unless the car was involved in a hit and run, that is. Then we should be investigating any other employee terminations around that time.

Soneet gets paid the same to go after peauts or filet. The car is peanuts.

If a car has been repaired I believe that in most states it's held under a mechanics lien, meaning that Soneet probably won't get it back without paying the repair bill.
The deposit is another matter.

he is a mogul in jail

One more illustration that all you investors paid for him to live the life of luxury

Well, on eBay the 1984 Rolls models are being sold for between $18,000 and $25,000. Just depends on the mileage and model. So it might be safe to say that the $6500 offer was a low-ball.
Posted by: | September 26, 2007 at 10:31 PM
So for all you little Johnnie Cochrans how much is the car worth that Soneet opted not to sell to Larry Gerry?
According to Soneet it must be more than $6500.
