The saga of the Backstreet Boys

This article offers one version (circa 2002) of the saga of the Backstreet Boys and their rivalry with *NSync as Lou Pearlman proteges.

What kind of dumb staement is that. If you knew the story correctly, Britany was supposed to be in Innosense and he didn'tthink she was going to be good enough. So she went solo. Lou doesn't have anything to do with what is going on with Britany right now. She is a grown adult. Making her own choices (even though they might not be good ones) they have nothing to do with Lou.

Pearlman used to brag he not only started the BSB, but also discovered BS (Britney Spears). And look what a life disaster that turned out to be. This is what happens when you package and hype a person with very little natural talent. It's just another fraud on the public that was the specialty of Loucifer.

El grande once told us that The Backstreet Boys bought him a very expensive car for his birthday even after they(BSB) sued him. TRUE OR FALSE?

true very,very true

If he is the 6th BSB then I am sixth Jackson 5

Thanks bettersource.

After reading the article I thought it seemed dated. Now understanding its a reprint of an article originally written in 2002 it makes sense.

Lou always justified running N'SYNC alongside Backstreet by saying you don't run an airline with just one airplane.

The qwazy thing is, he probably DID have only one airplane!

In any case, the music industry makes the boxing industry look good.

a more respectable source for that article is here: http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=9B01E5DA1E3AF93BA2575BC0A9649C8B63&sec=&spon=&pagewanted=all

The funniest line in this story: "Mr. Pearlman had legally made himself a sixth member of the group"

I'm imagining tubby Lou jumping around on stage with a bunch of teenage boys (maybe his dream come true).

El grande once told us that The Backstreet Boys bought him a very expensive car for his birthday even after they(BSB) sued him. TRUE OR FALSE?

He is a mogul

Just another Pearlman blowout!

blah blah blah
