Expense tally to date: $187,198
Bankruptcy trustee Soneet Kapila filed a request this week for reimbursement of expenses for his firm and the various other law and accounting firms that are working on the Lou Pearlman- Trans Continental Airlines bankruptcy case. The grand total to date is $187,198. Travel expenses appear to be the largest category (lots of $190 hotel rooms in Orlando). The numbers do not include any professional fees. So far none of the professionals have asked to be paid for their work, although I am sure they will be asking at some point. Here are the documents for those who care to read them: Motion for reimbursement, attachments, more attachments.

sounds good kim ... let's start by limiting your stupid posts.

Limiting the stupid posts would be nice!

yes, can't we limit the posts to 1 or 2 per day from everyone...I think it would make for a "tighter" and more well thought out forum.

No, "us" is correct as there are many who are tired of her. I am for sure.

"You strike us as attention starved"
Is there more than one voice in your head? I think you should seek some help.

Kim do you actually live with anyone who can tolerate your weirdness? You strike us as attention starved and in need of feeling important. By now you shold have made a difference and contacted whoever you needed to if there is any point to your pstings, otherwise give it up girl. Go bake a cake. Join a church. Try knitting.

These expenses and eventual fees are a drop in the bucket of what was lost, but represent a bonanza for the trustee and bankruptcy. They will be the only winners in this mess.
WHY ARE NO AGENTS BEING INDICTED OR LOOKED AT? BECAUSE IT WOULD LEAD BACK TO STATE OF FLORIDA? THIS IS INSANE.

What? Did you expect him to stay at a Motel? A decent hotel usually cost from $150 ~ 350 a night. $190 a night is a fair price. $70?? I don't believe you can find decent accommodations for $70 a night. Maybe a service-less type without room service, a pool or a gym. But come on lets be serious, none of us would stay there either.

You know they call it blogging for a reason. No I will not take a break, I don't feel the need to. Maybe you should take a break so you don't have to read it. Now that's a thought.
There are a couple of really nice hotels right on Sand Lake that run about $70 a night. That's not too far from Church Street. If I'm not mistaken, I believe the airport does rent cars. I gave Soneet the benefit of the doubt, however, I don't feel that there is a need to stay in the most expensive hotels and pay for limo rides. They are supposed to be finding money, not spending as much of it as possible.

Maybe all of us who got scammed should appy for jobs so we could stay at $190.00 a night motels and ride in limo,s. Sounds a little steep to me

Looks like Greg Garno stays in some pretty nice hotels!! $500.00 Is he trying to compete with Pearlman?

Kim, please give it a break. Why do you feel the need to comment on each and every topic. You are annoying a lot of people.
You have stated that one person is bashing you, but this is not the case. There seems to be quite a few. Please do not believe there is a conspiracy, as there is not. I have no alliance with the others who also dislike your arrogant and opinionated posts.
Please, as has been asked of you by many, take a month off from here. We need a break.

As always Kim, you have a make a statement!!!!!!

Now, as many times as I have stayed in Orlando for the weekend, I don't think the entire hotel bill for the weekend was $190. Why do they need to stay in the most expensive hotels, or have limo rides when they can easily rent a car for a lot less. I just think the expenses are a bit extreme and that maybe they should start budgeting their costs.

Car rental is much cheaper than limo from the airport. The limo total: $72 for one ride to Orlando and one ride back to airport the next day. Car rental: LUXURY car for $70 and a decent mid size car is $35. Seems like someone isn't paying attention to the expense accounting.

anybody care to guess what all unbilled fees are to date ?
Posted by: | October 28, 2007 at 08:57 PM
190 a night hotel rooms seems high

Helen- Do you have the figures availabe from the auctions and sale of LP posessions so far ? And can you compare those numbers to the figures that the trustee and his professionals are requesting for expenses and compensation? Just wondering. Yes I do think an Orlando based Trustee would have saved big $$$$$'s on expenses, airfare, hotels, meals, car rentals, parking fees, etc, but I can't be judgemental, as I don't know the legal ropes of this case.
