Bankruptcy trustee Soneet Kapila filed documents in court this week saying he plans to question Lou Pearlman's girlfriend, Tammie Hilton, his frequent jail visitor, David Hedrick, and three other people--Ben Owen, Barry Irving and Robert Devine. He also has issued subpoenas ordering them to hand over any correspondence or documents they've got related to Lou. Here is what he's ordered Tammie to produce. (See p. 11)

Update: Tammie's examination has been rescheduled for Jan. 7.

Is it true that Pearlman once owned the Chippendales? I wonder why he would be into that business.

S.Bennett worked for Azzouz right after he and his buddy Greg McDonald left Pearlman. Did he get Janet and Kamla their new jobs too? Now I've read Bennett is head of "Public Relations" at Julian Benshcer's offshore company Sherwood Investments. According to NASD filings Bennet was also Pearlman's head of Shareholder Relations and Benscher was one of Pearlman's largest shareholders. All these people seem to work a tight-knit circle.

Kosher meals in most jails are a level of quality above regular food served. Even though Pearlman is not kosher, he has a continued need to obtain another asset, product or service through the use of fraud (even in jail), hence pretending to be kosher.

Fred is right. The feds,(US Prosecutor) are not interested in working with the US Trustee.
Mr. Hornberg appears to be protecting banks and certain officials from creditors. He is after all a federal employee, he appears to have taken a 180 degree turn from his initial indicatation to victims that their questionaire sent by his office would result in actions taken on their behalf to aid recovery and justice. It is disheartening at least, to hear nothing from the US Prosecutor that would give any hope to victims that he is working for them, not the banks, and not the state of Florida. This is our government.

The trustee doesn't know where the servers are because the FBI will not tell him. They have them, and they are not interested in anything that the trustee is doing. He is just chasing his tail.

I don't think the servers would be hard to find. But that is assuming they are still where they were. Given that they were somewhere on the Space Coast, they were likely in a co-location facility. That's where it gets iffy. Chances are they or the data on them was removed for lack of payment. Companies do not keep servers in a residence as the bandwidth to support the enterprise would not be available. A Windows domain with Exchange servers would need quite a bit more than residential internet connection.

The answer to where are the servers is probably somewhere in the corporate paperwork or bank statements. If they were not on site at Church Street, then they had to be somewhere with uptime and bandwidth available.

The real question isn't where are the servers, but rather where are the backup tapes? If Barry was worth his salt as an administrator, you can bet he had backup tapes and likely kept some in a safe location in case of emergency. Also, given Lou's propensity to buy stuff and not pay, he likely leased the servers and they've been repossessed. If that wasn't the case, wouldn't we have seen Soneet auction them off at some point. Servers, firewalls, routers and racks can bring big money, it wouldn't make sense not to auction them if they were owned by Lou.

TC Airlines was all handled by Fischetti and Finger. Crudele would come into the office from time to time with new investors but lived in Tampa. All of Lou's secretarial work was done by Mandy Newland. Mandy never wrote checks she would have to go to Kamla or Janet. These were the folks who Lou kept close to the hip on a daily basis. After graduating Law School Mike Ferderigo's was involved heavily with the setting up of LLC's and such. There you have it.... All the folks talked about in these blogs were small players in Lou's world. The above mentioned were his day to day people.

Kapila has to much free time and is finding new ways to spend the money he has recovered. He is just like LP, taking the investors money.
