Pearlman trial postponed to April

Lou Pearlman's trial on federal bank fraud charges was rescheduled today from March to April. The lawyers for both sides wanted it delayed even longer, citing the volume of evidence, but Judge Kendall Sharp wasn't happy about that idea. "Court feels the case has not proceeded," is the way it's worded in the official record. Sharp said "June is ridiculous," according to the Orlando Sentinel report. There will be another "status conference" on the case in March.

Comments

Lou faces federal charges. No cameras are allowed in federal court.

Does Florida allow TV broadcast of trials?

ME TOO "JUST TALK" WITH MY 9

LOCK HIM IN A ROOM WITH ME FOR JUST 1 MINUTE. I JUST WANT TO "TALK" TO HIM.

Pearlman should be entitled to meet each of his investors for a one on one meeting.

He doesn't deserve to be alone. He should live very closely with his fellow inmates. I'm sure they have alot in common.

Another day that goes by

is

Another day that Pearlman sits in jail, alone

may there be another 14,600 of these days in the future

Has Pearlman ever done anything legimate in his life? He lived on other people's money for his entire life.

Death Sentence

for a $416 million fraud

"Are you on drugs? Jason Hoffman was indicted by the FTC before he worked at TCON.

Hmmm Jason Hoffman and Ralph Edward Bell. I wonder what Ralph Edward Bell is up to these days? I wonder who he might be working with?

Isn't he the sixth Backstreet boy?

> Jason Hoffman is not his real name or is it?????

Are you on drugs? Jason Hoffman was indicted by the FTC before he worked at TCON.

http://www.ftc.gov/os/1999/05/model1cmp.htm

When he worked at TCON, he worked in accounting. He said he left Pearlman's company when he saw financial irregularities.

It's all in Henderson's book--Hoffman's leaked email--quoted verbatim.

Get with the program, start reading. That book has clues to where Pearlman's money went (for those smart enough to read between the lines).

Hey, for the anti-Hollywood complainers here. You lost money trying to make it in the free market economy. Movie producers are allowed the same freedom to try and make money, too.

As much as your losses are regrettable, that doesn't mean you should condemn everyone else trying to be successful, or think like Communists.

Helen makes money from reporting on this Pearlman story. Have you got a problem with that, too? If so, you shouldn't be on this blog.

The End

since when do movies cover the TRUE story of anything?

"If you know Lou has a deal in the works, then why don't you tell what you know? You seem to be the guru on what Lou, Tammie and Mandy are doing. All of you people seem to think that there is going to be some big tell all movie with the title, "By the way here is where your money is hid". All of these people doing movies are just looking to cash in on whatever they they there story is. A true story about this whole thing cannot possibly even begin to be written until the real life story plays out. And even then, the entire truth won't be known. Any movie that comes out before then won't come even close to being any kind of truth to this whole debacle. "

Jason Hoffman is not his real name or is it?????
Lou has a new deal in the works ask Tammie or maybe we should ask Mandy.

Did Kapila sell Lou's crap on Ebay yet?

> Did TCON not have an accounting department??

Kamla Bacchus. Subpoena Jason Hoffman for details. He worked in finance at TCON.

Or just squeeze Cort Randell for more info. He was Lou's financial consultant and must have contacted his accountant more than once!

Speaking of Randell, does anyone know what he's up to now? Isn't he fixing to pay for Pearlman's defense?

Did TCON not have an accounting department??

If it had not been for the banks being suckered, no one would even know about the investors...Wiat a minute no one Does!!!

Hey Lou, Microsoft DID propose a big acquisition! But it wasn't the Disney, Apple and TCON deal you assured scores of investors was 'signed, sealed and delivered' two years ago! Were you joshing us? Golly.

Have the prosecutors considered both individual and corporate income tax fraud?

The word is Mandy is still working for Lou. She gets her job duties thru Tammie.

Is this a joke? What could she still be doing for fatso?

The word is Mandy is still working for Lou. She gets her job duties thru Tammie.

4:27 you're saying Tolner allegedly had nothing to do with this then?

Probably hide from the thousands of investors that he has ****ed

"What would Pearlman do if he gets out of jail? "

the longer it takes, the more defendants that are going to be added to the indictments....be patient

"Thank goodness the Judge won't tolerate the delays, left to their own devices, the US Prosecutor and Pearlmans lawyer will delay into oblivion. The gov't. is engaed in a cover-up and Pearlman is playing the time diffuses everything game, so it would appear. Thanks Judge!"

Another reminder 12:34, of the warped mind of a con man.

I think it was others that looted the EISA not Pearlman.

Innocent til proven guilty, right?

What would Pearlman do if he gets out of jail?

QUESTION: Why don't we hear any news about Bob F. and Mandy N. Both of these people were central figures in LP's business dealings and they had contact with the people that were scammed.

Did someone say a "Cover up" How can that be?

Thank goodness the Judge won't tolerate the delays, left to their own devices, the US Prosecutor and Pearlmans lawyer will delay into oblivion. The gov't. is engaed in a cover-up and Pearlman is playing the time diffuses everything game, so it would appear. Thanks Judge!

They should sell his college diploma. It was a mail order job.

The longer the delays go on the more Lou Pearlman memorbilia pops on Ebay.

Check this one out:

I'm sure that's a shocker. I figure they will drag it out as long as they can.
