More Alan Gross correspondence

Since there seems to be a lot of interest in Alan's old correspondence with the Securities and Exchange Commission, I'm posting these two responses from the SEC at his request. One is a form letter to him and the other is a letter to an attorney who apparently contacted the SEC on Alan's behalf. I think Alan does deserve credit for standing up for what he thought was right and contacting the SEC. By the way, when I visited Alan, he played his tape of Lou's old phone call for me, so I can verify its existence.

This is nothing more than a stunt by the band to get some free media exposure. It worked, they used Lou’s name to get some attention. Lets move on.

Relax Everyone,

Federal Prison rules make it illegal to operate a business while in jail. All calls and mail is monitored.

Lou will not be managing a band or anything else.

What this band and others like them fail to realize or want to acknowledge is that he was able to make a career and a name for himself, creating success for some, based on the resources (money) he stole and borrowed and never repaid. He's not the genius he deludes himself to be and would have others believe.He's a low-life thief.With a little knowledge and millions of stolen money you too can be a success. Wonderful mentor.

No way should he be allowed to manage or help any bands.He should be spending his time in jail figuring out a way to help those he robbed,or pondering the evil of his ways.If he's allowed to manage a band to help them become successful and profitable,even for free,he's still promoting and glorifying himself and will ultimately find a devious way to selfishly profit.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A local band is reaching out to Lou Pearlman, jailed after pleading guilty to defrauding investors out of millions of dollars.

Pearlman guided the Backstreet Boys and 'N Sync to stardom, and even though he's in jail, he could find himself managing another band.
The band plans to meet with Pearlman in jail next week to work out a deal.

The band said since he can't hear their CD in jail, they're hoping to perform a live concert for the inmates.

Thanks Alan, the Lou defenders are losers, we appreciate your efforts, find a way to put this behind after sentencing and enjoy each precious minute of your life. Lou will not be doing the same, that will speak for itself. I know that is what I am going to do. Barring any blockbuster last minute deals, we all should.

I agree,you've done enough on this blog to inform and help.You're not a martyr or a savior and you don't owe anyone anything further. Those who understand the truth wouldn't be badgering or baiting you. Anyone else who is trying to aggravate you, even if they actually have lost money from Lou is an a-hole. Alan, What alot of the idiots on this blog do not realize is you did not have to share anything. I find your desire to reveal Lou as he really is, courageous. You have basically confirmed that no matter how much information one provides, most people cannot see the train coming because they are blinded by the lights. Answering questions does not bother me but I am growing sick and tired of people asking me questions in situations where I was not involved and/or have no knowledge. I find this to be disrespectful in light of the volume of information I have shared with everyone and so far, the only person who is willing to try to make sense of all of this AND come up with a plan to help people in your position. If you have any suggestions as to how I can be of assistance, then I welcome such feedback. If I perceive that I am being attacked or baited, I will respond accordingly. I sincerely hope that this answers your question so that we could move forward and be proactive in calling attention to the plight and needs of investors, such as yourself, and others who Pearlman damaged.

I appreciate your interest in this material but I do not believe this is the appropriate venue to share it with all of you. I am making arrangements to make it available so I respectfully ask for your patience. You people are trying to do to me what Pearlman was good at. I share a little and you keep wanting more.

I am not holding out but the reason why I released this material is to see how many other people tried to get a government agency to pay attention to what was going on with Pearlman and TransContinental. The posters at 11:08pm last night and 7:20am & 7:35 a.m. get it. I am hoping that if enough people come forward, then a pattern of neglect can be established.

People reading this information have lost a lot of money and are hoping for some way to recoup their funds. The government at all levels, in my opinion, is not stepping up and taking responsibilty. No one is advocating for this large group of people and the gossip, innuendos, bad taste jokes are simply unnecessary.

To 7:57 pm, funny how all efforts aimed at government helping us went unanswered. This is why the criminals have the upper hand, their victims who have been traumatized and emotionally and financially raped are tossed to the gutter like yesterdays news. I was not aware of the Ponzi scheme and I was fooled by the appearance of success as everyone else. I didn't plan on attending the event but Frankie wanted me to be there. A lot of my material was used for the biographical video. I didn't know many people at the party and most of those people I recognized surprised me by saying that they had left TransContinental.

At the time of the party, I was still trying to reconcile a diagnosis of cancer that I received the year before. Polycythemia Vera is a mild form of leukemia and I take a chemotherapy medication at home daily and I am OK. Unfortunately, the diagnosis went undiscovered until I suffered some neurological and brain damage. It was the reason that it took so long to have Helen visit me.

I decided that life was too short to bear the grudge that I held for decades and that I would celebrate this occasion as a showing of reconciliation. Do you honestly think that I would have gone if I knew about this? I appreciate every day that I am alive now and that is why I want to share my information. My desire to be of service is consistent from childhood. I was an easy mark for Pearlman but at least I was shrewd enough to save things that I thought would be relevant one day.

How about those that contacted the Florida AG's office, the SEC and the FTC?

Like Alan, they not only got threatened with litigation, but were sued, some several times.

If anyone deserves an award for effort it was Bill Rosenberger.

Lou was such a sweetheart he maintained a lawsuit against Bill's dead father and grieving mother for racketeering.

When I say Lou I also mean Tolner, Chamberlain, McDonald and Jans. Good people.
