Club Pilates stretches out at Shops at Wiregrass

RECOMMENDED READING

WESLEY CHAPEL — Earlier this year, Club Pilates opened in Carrollwood, and this month, owners Nathan and Ayesha Philyaw, will open their second location at the Shops at Wiregrass.

Club Pilates was founded in California in 2007, and there are now hundreds of locations throughout the United States. Florida can expect to see 25 more locations by the end of the year, including several in the Tampa Bay area.

Club Pilates offers a wide array of group classes that it conducts on the reformer machine. Certified instructors show clients how to use reformer machines to achieve a full body, low impact, and high intensity workout. Pilates offers health benefits for people of every fitness level, and also helps people de-stress. It is also a great compliment to other fitness routines and workouts.

Reformer Pilates differs from mat Pilates because of the use of resistance springs. The springs on the reformer machine counterbalance a person’s body weight, as well as provide assistance during exercise.

Classes are 50 minutes long, and the club holds different levels of classes throughout the day. Classes include Reformer Flow, Cardio Sculpt, Center & Balance, Functional Interval Training and Suspend. Complimentary introductory classes are available to anyone who’s a non-member.

Club Pilates Wiregrass is located at 28249 Paseo Drive, No. 190. For more information, call (813) 607-6655, or visit clubpilates.com/wiregrass.
