Catch the Wharton pep rally?

Coach_haircut_2 Here's Wharton High School boys' soccer coach Scott Ware getting a haircut from his team at today's pep rally. Ware promised the boys that if they won the state championship, he'd let them shave his head. Guess who won that bet? That's senior forward Drew Kocher with the clippers as Alex Bartholomew, a senior defensive player, waits his turn. This is Wharton's first-ever sports title. [CARRIE PRATT | Times]

Girls_cheering_3 Jennifer Maroney, far left, a twelth grader; Jessica Jasztal, second from left, a senior; Saya Arakawa, second from right with camera, a senior; Terri Trovato, far right, a senior; and Natalie Noble, bottom right, a third grader and sister of player Matt Noble, yell for the soccer team at today's pep rally. Melissa Layton, bottom left, is a mother of two of the players.

Ah, one more haircut shot. Thanks, Carrie!
