Tampa Palms Elementary to celebrate Earth Day with activism

Schools throughout Hillsborough County will have Earth Day activities and teaching lessons including Tampa Palms Elementary on Wednesday (April 22).

Students at the school will participate in activities including:

• Shared reading activities focused on the theme of “reduce, reuse, recycle.”

• Clean up of the school grounds.

• Creating public service announcements for the school TV encouraging students to reduce, reuse, and recycle.

• Fifth-graders will plant tropical plants.
