Wander the World: Creating a travel brochure

Creating a travel brochure

Wander2_3 Imagine you are a travel writer for the St. Petersburg Times, and you have been tasked with putting together a special travel section focusing on a luxury tour to visit some of the places represented in your summer reading books. Have you visited all seven continents yet? If you could visit one of the continents, which one would it be: North America, South America, Asia, Australia, Africa, Europe or Antarctica? Click on the comment button below to discuss your travels.

Even you are not able to travel to the four corners of the world, books can take you there. So, I encourge my students to read books where the settings are in far away places. I tell my students to stop, take a moment to reflect by closing their eyes and imagine that they are there.

If i could go anywhere in the world i would go to Italy. The country seems sooooo 'romantic'. And the site is incredibly beautiful. When i go there the first thing i want to see is the Leaning Tower Of Pisa. I heard the sight is amazing. And The Eiffel Tower is what i wanted to see since i could remember. The style is unique there. and you can dress anyway you want to and not be judged. You can look as weird as you want and people will love it!!!! When i go to Italy, hopefully the first city i go to is Rome. I want to see the ancient places. That isz the reason i want to go to Italy.

I would like to travel to Los Angles, California. I would want to go there, because I have family in California, but I do not know what part, but I just want to go to LA, because it does have a lot of history there. I also like the Los Angeles Lakers.

I would go to Paris because I heard they have some of the best shopping and I love shopping. I love shopping for shoes. There are so many different kinds but they are all good.
