Hi Chris, so you didn't know that we have our own month? Hahaha lol! Well, thank you for your comment and of course I am proud of my heritages!

Hi Elba i like the way you express your self for your Latin heritage!!

Its so cool to have our own month. I am proud of my country... I am proud of my heritages... I am proud of my language... I am proud to be "Latina"...

im proud to say im a latino!

I am so proud to be latina, I love my roots and my heritage. Its all about our blood, our believes, traditions, our music, our foods, our fiestas, everything of this define us. I love my country, I love my language, I love my heritage... Be proud to be LATINO!

I'm proud to be Hispanic and the here in america the they are celebrating the hispanic month.

i love beinq LATIN its my pride :]

Hey christian. I agree with you that its cool that we now celebrate this now. Realy think its cool that we now have month dedicated to our spanish heritage. I also like that now people can learn more about these heritages now thanks to this month and the people that celebrate it.

HEY EDITH. I know it is about family. But as you know I HAVE NEVER BEEN THERE. Plus I am also proud to be Latin. So I agree with you it is about family but I also think it is about having fun and meeting new people. But I never said anything about it being a party cause I never been there.

Hey Ozzie.Spanish heritage month is not a party. Is the month we can share and have fun with the family.

I have to agree with most of this comments here.I honestly did not know there was spanish heritage month and that people actually celebrated.I'm 100% peruvian and i'm proud of it.

I think it is a good thing.Because they are doing a Spanish heritage week. Athough I never been to one and I am Spanish. Plus it would be cool to be there. Because there is alot of cultures there and you get to learn about your heritage. You also get to try different kinds of Spanish food there. Oh and you get to meet other people that speak Spanish, learn about their heritage, and become friends with them. I think Spanish heritage is cool.

what I think influences these cultures here in Tampa is the climate. Most/all Spanish cultures live in warm climates like ours. Another thing that I think that influences the Spanish cultures in this area is the food. There are many different types of Spanish foods here that are eaten by these cultures. Also another thing that contributes to this the neighborhoods. A good percentage of these neighborhoods have people livng there that have some type of Spanish decent in them.

There's a big population of hispanics in around the Tampa Bay area and lots more to come. They have a huge influence in the food we eat, like Tacos, cuban sandwiches and the sports we play and cheer for, like soccer and baseball.

I did not know that they celebrated spanish heritage month. Now that I know I think is cool because there so many things we celebrate. They are givin us a chance to celebrate our moth with families and friends.Any where in United States you see many spanish traditions we share toghether.I'm proud to celebrate spanish heritage month!!!!!!.

Me being latin I'm proud to know that there are people that celebrate our heritege month with us.I'm glad to know that we can celebrate it even when we are not there and that even though we are in America they have no problem with us celebrating our month.Whereever I go I see something latin on the streets. We latinos whereever we go we live a little bit of our heritege. Also people get to know all
the different stuff we do.We have a chance to show them many stuff we can do,for example our foods.Theres alot of people that like our foods so we get a chance to show them how cook it so the Latin spirit goes on for centuries like its been till now.Im proud to say im Latin!!
