Forum
Paul contacted me again, and this time I acquiesced. He's probably going to start a forum for us on his site and all we have to do is occasionally mention the site on the show and link it off here. So, everyone will have a place to vent and chat poker other than what Scott, Fatso or I have posted here. Not sure if this is going to hurt our blog numbers or not, but maybe you guys could agree to click the link when I post it in the rail on THIS page, that way you have to come here first before going to his forum pages.
That probably seems like a lot of effort, but if you could just check in here to see what we have to say first, and then click his forum link that would be cool. I really don't want to see our numbers shrink since we have worked pretty hard to build them up.
If you're wondering why I haven't posted in a few days it's because we are swamped here at tbt*. But I'll post soon. I won some razz money the other night and will be playing more tournaments soon to bone up for our Ante Up! tourneys.
More later.

Christopher Cosenza is co-host of the longest running poker podcast on the planet, Ante Up! He started playing poker seriously in 2003 and his favorite players are Phil Ivey and Kenna James, though he tends to act like Phil Hellmuth if you make a bad play against him.
Scott Long, Ante Up!'s other co-host, is the author of the monthly Bet on It column in tbt*. He began gambling way too young (don't tell the fuzz!) and in the seventh grade, named his state "Gambleland" for a school project (State Animal? Loan shark, of course).

It only takes a few seconds to check the blog so I'll still be coming here and since I already read some of the forums at cardclubs.net checking that won't be a problem either.

I don't really come here anyway. I subscribe to your RSS feed. How does that affect your numbers? Do I not count, or am I counted every time my browser check the feed?

I will def check both. I work for the internet, so really all i have to do all day and check RSS feeds, blogs, forums....oh and sometimes actually answer the tech support Q's that i'm supposed to be answering.

Sorry for all the deletes....http://pokertipsforyou.iphorum.com/Ok, so here is the deal, I don't want to step on toes. I have had this forumfor a while, but never got it started. I would love to have somewhere wherepeople that are also devotees of the ante up! podcast could just come hang out,and chat.I don't want to increase the workload on the guys, while they are outbusy playing razz, and getting pretty girls to come on their radio show WinkI also don't think that they should have to barter to get a form going, whereI sit here, reading 2+2, and the forum on cardplayer all day, and knowthat I have entirely too much computer time on my hands. I will glady do anyadmin/web design work in my own free time. I'm not here to plug affiliatelinks, push my website, anything of that nature.I will plaster Ante Up! all over the site, link back to theblog, the guys have full admin rights, to edit/delete anything theyfeel may be *bad*.If you choose to shoot me down, no problem. Hell you don't evenhave to link to the forum. I really just would love to have a "home base"to go and read poker info, with people who are on a similar interestlevel as I am, and I really think that this is the forum, so to speak, for that.So please let me know. You can email me traceyami@gmail.com-Tracey

That's great Tracey, but I just told the guy we'd let him start one and he did. Not sure what to do about it now. Can you start one to give us an idea of what it would look like and be like? I don't doubt your ability to create/control a forum, but I know that this Paul guy has been doing this for a while and will remain there. What assurances to we have that you will continue to do this for us? It's totally appreciated, but I'd like to know that you won't be going anywhere if I decide to burn a bridge with Paul. Again, this is totally appreciated and I wish you spoke up a coupla days sooner so this wouldn't have happened.

It's all good, I was just thinking about it on the way to work this AM. Must say that I'm very excited to hear that you did get a forum going, and will promise that I'll be a regular poster.
