SunPoker comes through!
I know we've been talking about this for a while, but SunPoker finally got the swag to us. We talked about it on the show, and as promised, here's a shot of the products we have been given so we can give it to you. Remember, if you send us a Hand of the Week, we will need a mailing address. And if you want a shirt send us the preferred size. Now, here's the deal. You need to send us ALL of the hand's information, and if ANYTHING is missing we won't use it. We just have to be sure to have all of our bases covered. And just because you sent us a hand doesn't mean you'll get something. We need to have it on the show as THE Hand of the Week. OK? We have a very durable hat with stitched logo, a nice quality T-shirt or a deck of cards with the SunPoker logo.
So, we'd like to thank SunPoker and of course Cowboy Kenna James for making this happen. These products should last a while, but if we run out of anything we will let you know so you will know your options.

Christopher Cosenza is co-host of the longest running poker podcast on the planet, Ante Up! He started playing poker seriously in 2003 and his favorite players are Phil Ivey and Kenna James, though he tends to act like Phil Hellmuth if you make a bad play against him.
Scott Long, Ante Up!'s other co-host, is the author of the monthly Bet on It column in tbt*. He began gambling way too young (don't tell the fuzz!) and in the seventh grade, named his state "Gambleland" for a school project (State Animal? Loan shark, of course).

I'll try to get in a hand of the week because I love to get a deck of cards. Over here the high cards aren't JQKA but BVKA. Very confusing when you're used to the English decks because of online poker. Of course you could buy them somewhere here, but not in every shop.

hey guys, another visit to the Black Hawk, CO., casinos, this time a little better time. Went to the Ameristar Casino, the swankest of the bunch, the poker room is now non smoking ... they play a $2-5 spread Hold 'em .. I'm starting to get a handle on it, there seems to be always a couple jokers with more dollars than sense who will raise everything pre-flop, it's it's $2, $7, $12 ... before the flop ... I think the trick is to simply not go fishing. Either you've got a great opening pair of cards, or you don't. I played extremely tight. So tight that I discovered if I was four-cards to a flush and didn't get it, all I had to do was raise and everyone folded ... I did have a 3-4 suited on the blind, limped in because no one raised, and flopped an A-2-5 ... No one saw that comin' ...In an hour of play, came out $27 ahead and it was time to go home.Future reports to come ... --chase

OK, the St. Petersburg Times is having some technical difficulties with its phone lines, particularly the toll-free numbers. When it's fixed I'll post here or update you on the show. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Our toll-free number is still down, but if you need to call while your comments are still fresh in your mind and don't mind the charge, apparently you can still call directly at 727.824.7742. The toll-free number only serves as a router to that number anyway. But this way you can call us free from anywhere. If it can wait I will keep you updated for when the actual free number comes back online.

For those who don't know you can always download Skype from download.com or skype.com and call from your computer to ANYWHERE in the USA & some other places too for FREE as long as you have a mic. I have a $2 mic from Walmart that works pretty well. Some other countries are now included as well.
