AIPS #8 Champion: KJPoker
KJPoker, the man responsible for bringing Kenna James to Ante Up!, earns a banana by besting 70 other players in limit hold'em. His set of 10s turned into a full house to oust Zerkaboid, who is racing up the POY leaderboard despite being bananaless.
Scott fought hard to reach the final table through Chris' taunts, but came up short. He did, however, get on the POY board by claiming Fasso's bounty. Khanwoman took Scott out later to claim his bounty, and Gambit727 dispatched Chris.
NEXT EVENT: HORSE, Noon Saturday. Entry details here.

Christopher Cosenza is co-host of the longest running poker podcast on the planet, Ante Up! He started playing poker seriously in 2003 and his favorite players are Phil Ivey and Kenna James, though he tends to act like Phil Hellmuth if you make a bad play against him.
Scott Long, Ante Up!'s other co-host, is the author of the monthly Bet on It column in tbt*. He began gambling way too young (don't tell the fuzz!) and in the seventh grade, named his state "Gambleland" for a school project (State Animal? Loan shark, of course).

So I take it Fasso won't be speaking to Scott anymore either ;)
To quote Shakespeare: 'not to be'.

Congrats KJ and Zerk (and even Scott for getting on the board...finally). Is bananaless a word?

Taunts? I like to think of my actions as tough love. Of course, Scott knows I was just ribbing him the way he ribbed me when I was a "LUCKBOX" last week and the way he was busting my chops when he sat atop the leaderboard EARLY last night and I was in 12th. Speaking of 12th, isn't that where Scott finished? Just out of the money? The poker gods act swift when you become a braggart, Scott!
Seriously, congrats to our good friend Dave from Ohio. He either leading or in second for most of the tournament and came all the way back from $4K at that very talented final table to win. Way to go big guy!
