AIPS #9 Champion: columbo!

Picture_1_3

That's right, it takes a detective to figure out HORSE. The Mystery Man takes the final banana before the Big One, outlasting 35 players to win it. Columbo and Mobile Geek, who had booted Chris just short of the final table, began heads-up with about even stacks - in razz! But columbo finished Geek off with a set of 3s in stud.

beammeupfast took Scott out wayyyy too early :), to claim his bounty. Fasso had better things to do than get booted early in a HORSE tournament, so he didn't play.

It all comes down to one last event, a $22 affair that is sure to send rumbles through the POY leaderboard. Don't miss it!

NEXT EVENT: MAIN EVENT - double stack No-Limit Hold'em, Noon Saturday. Entry details here.

Way to go Columbo! I'm glad you made good use of my chips (being you took me out in dreaded RAZZ). My 32A starting hand chose to vaporize rather than materialize. However, even still, I will order a 'Lets Play Razz!' shirt before weeks end. And then there was one. See everyone at AIPS 10 Thursday!

I mean next Saturday (AIPS 10),,, NOT THURSDAY!

About This Blog

Christopher Cosenza is co-host of the longest running poker podcast on the planet, Ante Up! He started playing poker seriously in 2003 and his favorite players are Phil Ivey and Kenna James, though he tends to act like Phil Hellmuth if you make a bad play against him.

Scott Long, Ante Up!'s other co-host, is the author of the monthly Bet on It column in tbt*. He began gambling way too young (don't tell the fuzz!) and in the seventh grade, named his state "Gambleland" for a school project (State Animal? Loan shark, of course).
