BREAKING NEWS: Florida passes bill!
The state of Florida just took a big step toward manhood, passing the poker bill we've been discussing as of late. Check this out. The law will go in effect on July 1. Tournaments will be bigger, and so will the bets in cash games. This is a great day for Sunshine State Poker Players!

Christopher Cosenza is co-host of the longest running poker podcast on the planet, Ante Up! He started playing poker seriously in 2003 and his favorite players are Phil Ivey and Kenna James, though he tends to act like Phil Hellmuth if you make a bad play against him.
Scott Long, Ante Up!'s other co-host, is the author of the monthly Bet on It column in tbt*. He began gambling way too young (don't tell the fuzz!) and in the seventh grade, named his state "Gambleland" for a school project (State Animal? Loan shark, of course).

At least one Virginian rejoices for you ! Congratulations Florida.

A big congrats from the Northeast Corridor. I actually had an 'Ante Up' moment on the bus this morning going into NYC. We were by the Lincoln Tunnel and I look up at this huge billboard advertising NJ waterfront property, and the headline read "GET UNSTUCK" and the first thing I thought of was the LA meetup where Scott talked about doing just that by play 8/16 Omaha (?) or something to that effect.
Anywho, be sure to get your wives a nice surprise gift now that you guys will be pulling Fasso-esque 70 hour sessions there...
