Ante Up! influences CardPlayer Brasil
Well, okay, Ante Up! didn't actually influence CardPlayer Brasil, but we did influence one of our listeners, Guilherme Kalil, to write a piece for the magazine on ... RAZZ! Our mantra of "Let's Play Razz!" has affected Gui so deeply that he submitted a column on this fine stud variation and it was published recently in CP Brasil. Of course the article is in Portuguese, so it might be tough to read for most of you. It just goes to show you that Ante Up! really can make a difference in the poker community (sniff, sniff). Also, did anyone besides the people in Brasil even know there was a CardPlayer Brasil edition? Just kidding.
Congrats, Gui!

Christopher Cosenza is co-host of the longest running poker podcast on the planet, Ante Up! He started playing poker seriously in 2003 and his favorite players are Phil Ivey and Kenna James, though he tends to act like Phil Hellmuth if you make a bad play against him.
Scott Long, Ante Up!'s other co-host, is the author of the monthly Bet on It column in tbt*. He began gambling way too young (don't tell the fuzz!) and in the seventh grade, named his state "Gambleland" for a school project (State Animal? Loan shark, of course).

Guys,
I think you guys need to hire your own publicists soon. With all of the awards and recognition now, Ante-up hosts may be as big as the players themselves. You have a responsibility to the poker community just as the winner of the Main event has every year.
If the Poker Boom has died, it may soon be returning in the form of a WSOP RAZZ tournament with a $10,000 buy-in and 10,00 entrants. Will there be a Sunday RAZZ millions?

Ante Up is just a powerhouse. Although I got an email from Scott this morning asking me to translate into Portuguese his big announce he's making on the show today.
Which roughly translates into...
I am the true star of the show. Chris has been holding me back, everyone knows this. Once I win the February AIPS, I'm taking that cash, splitting town and starting my own cooking podcast called "Fun with Tree Bark! How to Become a Great Cook with Things in Your Backyard!"
