Ante Up! wins Bluff's "Best Podcast" award
Congratulations, Ante Up! Nation!
Bluff Magazine, one of the widest-read poker magazines in the world, has just posted the winners of its annual Readers Choice Awards - and your votes helped Ante Up! win the "Best Podcast" award!
Here's what Bluff had to say:
"Ante Up! is now not only one of the longest-running poker podcasts, but its also the Bluff Readers Choice winner. With the banter from Christopher Cosenza and Scott Long, Ante Up! provides quality poker entertainment for poker players of all abilities."
Honorable mentions went to Bluff Poker Radio and Full Tilt Lessons from the Pros.
A very heartfelt "thank you" to every listener who voted for us, and we promise to keep turning out great shows week in and week out.
Cheers!
- SCOTT

Christopher Cosenza is co-host of the longest running poker podcast on the planet, Ante Up! He started playing poker seriously in 2003 and his favorite players are Phil Ivey and Kenna James, though he tends to act like Phil Hellmuth if you make a bad play against him.
Scott Long, Ante Up!'s other co-host, is the author of the monthly Bet on It column in tbt*. He began gambling way too young (don't tell the fuzz!) and in the seventh grade, named his state "Gambleland" for a school project (State Animal? Loan shark, of course).

Congrats guys! That's an awesome achievement! Keep up the great work!

I wonder if Bluff would have forgotten to include the podcast award in print if the Bluff podcast had won.

Wow!
I can now say that my fan mail and hotline call were read on the Best Poker Podcast around! Plus, Podcast Celebrity Scott Long will be gracing his presence here in Chicago. I can't wait to get his autograph!
Seriously, I also listen to the ESPN Poker Edge and after last week's discussion on RAZZ, I wanted to get sick. There was no analysis at all. I think if Phil Gordon want's to interview someone about RAZZ, he should look to the Ante-up Nation! Ante-up wins hands down!
I'm sorry I am missing AIPS this Thursday. I will be on my way to Las Vegas to bother Poker Room managers about their lack of RAZZ tables.

Well, well, well. Maybe nice guys do finish first, after all. Even with the flu. What a terrific (and INTERESTING) award for our favorite pocket pair! This is my brush with celebrity for the year! Ante Up is the only podcast I listen to every week, without fail. It's reassuring to have one's taste and judgment confirmed occasionally. OK - free swag for everyone! I guess I will miss AIPS on Thursday, too -- I'm sick about it. Too bad we don't have two "flights" each month so we can catch the tourney. I will await the outcome, knowing Scott and Chris will finish at least one place higher with DocJohn out of the running.

Now the world must acknowledge what the Ante Up Nation has known for a long time. All hail Chris and Scott!
This is really a tremendous achievement. Really wonderful for you guys. You make the show sound so easy, but you guys put in alot of prep time and have been tremendously dedicated now into the third year. Even showing up for the Ante Up Nation when on vacation or sick. You guys really put your heart and soul into this.
Your podcast is the only one I literally wait for all week long.
Thank you, I really appreciate your efforts and love the show.
