Blogged.com ranks Ante Up!'s blog No. 2

The site administrators over at Blogged.com have just let us know that they recently reviewed the Ante Up! blog and rated us a 9.1 (excellent) out of 10! That makes us the No. 2 blog in the Games category. Blogged.com has ratings for 141 poker blogs.

Funny note: The site describes us as "professional poker players" (clearly they've missed both pot odds shows, but we appreciate the thought) and Michael Craig, whose blog is rated No. 3 (though also a 9.1), is just plain old "Michael Craig."

Chris and I will quickly get to work on learning all about the Philippine pool scene, as well as the oil and gas, financial services and information technology industries so we can capture that No. 1 spot.

Wow!

The St. Pete Times is going to have to lease another floor for all of the awards and trophies you guys are bringing in! Congratulations again!

With all of the exposure, it is going to get tougher and tougher to win a Banana. Will the AIPS Main event (H.O.R.S.E) be 1000 players this year?

What is the over/under on when an Ante Up! National wins a WSOP Bracelet?

Brian

Congrats guys! Looking at the other top blogs in games looks like you'll have to talk about paint ball to get a better rating.... Paintball's fun but how much pot odds talk is there?

Congrats!!! Can't wait to hear the podcast party tomorrow!!! Way to Go!!!
You guys are 1st Class.... Keep it up!

In the spirit of all the politics going on, you need to learn to spin this properly...

You are not the number 2 gaming blog, you are the number ONE Poker blog (actually tied with Michael Craig, but thanks to wise name choices way back in the beginning, you are listed #1)

You need to get that virtual trophy case built and rub it in the noses of those number whores down at the "Stuck in the 80's" blog

Aces, you just made my day!

So are we tied? Are you ahead only alphabetically? Or am I going to have to use all the stuff I've been holding back if I want to be No. 1?

Professional poker players, huh? The only way to truly prove that is to search the web and see if anyone has made multiple YouTube videos complaining about how you play.

Checkmate, suckas!

M.

You win, Michael! I'll contact Blogged.com right now and tell them to move you up!

Long time no hear! Thanks for the comment and congrats on finishing RIGHT behind us!!

"and see if anyone has made multiple YouTube videos complaining about how you play."

I just might make a 'leave Chris alone' video that will top the Britney version.

Damn it. I submitted mine yesterday and I am #35.

The funny thing is, No. 35 on that list is The Poker Lab Rat, so Sunffy's comment is not that far from being true. Hey, Snuffy, if you write a blog and no one reads it, is it actually a blog?

I read about 15 definitions of Blog and none of them actually required that anyone reads it. As long as it is updated "Periodically" and the information is available, it is considered a blog so fortunately for Snuffy, a blog is still a blog even with the absence of a single reader.

BRian

Hey Chi-Guy, an AU National (Don Baruch) has already won a bracelet. The Q is who is going to be No. 2?

congrats again, guys!

About This Blog

Christopher Cosenza is co-host of the longest running poker podcast on the planet, Ante Up! He started playing poker seriously in 2003 and his favorite players are Phil Ivey and Kenna James, though he tends to act like Phil Hellmuth if you make a bad play against him.

Scott Long, Ante Up!'s other co-host, is the author of the monthly Bet on It column in tbt*. He began gambling way too young (don't tell the fuzz!) and in the seventh grade, named his state "Gambleland" for a school project (State Animal? Loan shark, of course).
