Sanjaya's Sister!
Just found out that future American Idol champ Sanjaya Malakar's sister worked at Hooters. Why wasn't I notified of this sooner? Shamal Malakar was an early plotline on this season's show. Bro made it to Hollywood; sis went back to the orange hot pants.
Shamal is free to work where she wants. That said, I hate Hooters. The Forever Fiancee always gives me crap about that, saying I merely don't like the food (which is true). She says that, in actuality, I'm a great fan of the theory behind Hooters. That crazy FF, always busting my chops.
Besides those crappy wings, my big problem with Hooters are those ridiculous pantyhose the servers have to wear, like dollar-store scuba suits. It's totally unappetizing. And I'm not sure I see the health benefits of keeping their legs covered, but it's okay to allow their shellacked hair to swing all over my two-dozen nuclear wings.
By the way, I totally endorse Wing House.

I'm convinced that Hooters has the worst food of any chain this side of the Golden Corral. Sure, it still serves beer by the picture (an increasingly rare phenomenon unless you live in a college town), but the rubbery wings, fat-laden steak, veiny shrimp are disgusting.
The least they could do is implement a consistent dress code. What's with the locations that actually permit waitresses to wear Polo shirts?

For the record, Stuck in the 80s (of which Daly is a part) enjoys both Hooters and Wing House.
At Hooters, get the grouper's cousin sandwich and buffalo shrimp.
At Winghouse, get the blackened naked wings and 10-pound plate of nachos.

I love Hooters and Winghouse! You are right, the food is not the greatest, but it is the atmosphere. Plus, the Pantyhose rule on a woman, they look and feel great to the touch. We put on a pantyhose party for couples every year in Vegas and this will be a sixth year and it keeps growing. Enjoy your bare legs and flip flops, just respect those that enjoy pantyhose!

Hooters and Winghouse??? a valid comparison...u gotta be kidding ? Winghouse is a "wanna be chain/restaurant" that is terrible.....The food is barely edible and the owner with the lisp..needs to stay off the the TV commercials...he sounds like Elmer Fudd and is tuff on the eyes too...

The pantyhose are a plus in my opinion. Pantyhose are just so sexy and look and feel great on a woman's legs. Bare legs are just plain tacky. Women who wear pantyhose are classy an care about how they look.
