Heavy Metal Madness (with crayons)

GunscoloringHere's a rainy-day exercise courtesy of the new Heavy Metal Fun Time Activity Book. The puckish nod to both Crayola memories and head-banging debauchery is 48 pages of cheeky games, including "Color Metallica (1983)," "The Monsters of Rock Crossword" and "Color Metallica (1988)."

My personal favorite is "How Many Words Can You Make Out of Yngwie Malmsteen?" (Hmm, "stingy," "misty"...)

Good times, good times.

It's the perfect stocking stuffer for your 37-year-old buddy who still has a velcro Ozzy wallet.

Enjoy!

Wow! It's so fantastic that "color Metallica" is in it twice?
I'm not a metal head. I couldn't identify any member other than Slash. It looks like a great Christmas gift for my nephew, though.

Yep, you get two different versions of Metallica to color, plus Rob Halford and Glenn Danzig, too. What more can you ask for?

uh, who are those guys? bwahahaha j/k No, really. Who are they? :)

Hey! I resemble that remark!

Rob Halford?! The Metal God!!! Please tell me you know about the front man for Judas Priest. And Glenn Danzig is the 'roided out singer for Danzig... "Mother, tell your children not to look my way."... and also the Misfits. :-( Where can I get that book?

I LOVED Yngwie Malmsteen in high school! Did you know that he is the fastest guitar player in the world?? Now that's something to be proud of!

And you can also spell "intense metal" from his name, and the only letter you have to use twice is the "t"!

Any Don Dokken or Kip Winger games in that book?

nope..don't know any metal gods on a first name basis. I'm out of my league on this one. However, I do know who Kip Winger is...he has nice teeth.
