PODCAST TIME! A New Year's Eve Sextacular!

Carey11Okay, maybe "sextacular" is overselling it a bit. But on a very special episode of Stuck in the '80s, the podcast crew of Steve Spears, Sean Daly and special sassy guest Stephanie Hayes (pictured, left, with Dick Clark) invites listeners to call in with their fave New Year's Eve party tunes from that decadent decade.

You'll hear everyone's favorite '80s siren Marissa (click here for her blog) talk openly about her "concealed weapons." Jeff in Cuba breaks free from his military constraints and offers up the Party Song to Top All Party Songs (WATCH THAT). It's a regular who's-who of Stuck in the '80s fans.

Anyway, you can listen to the show RIGHT HERE. Or you can go to iTunes and search for "Stuck in the '80s." I'm gonna give this one an R rating (profanity, adult situations, brief nudity), so listen responsibly.

SD, how can you be so harsh comparing Stephanie to wacky Mariah?

Sean, I had no problem with Tone-Loc & Young MC, but it will take me a while to forgive you for 'The Humpty Dance'. That song has become one of my most hated through experiences in my DJ-ing. That song is a dance floor killer. Stephanie had the best top 3, and Jeff In Cuba had the best song suggestion. The reason you and I used to be at odds, is because you used to take some pot shots at the 80's nation in the early podcasts, and I called you on it a few times. But you have embraced the 80's nation now Sean, and we have embraced you. You know we love you Sean.

Sean! You are a smokin' hot god! You give me yet another shout out on your blog (steve didn't--he didn't play my song either) AND you pimp my little blog. It's like getting a post-Christmas gift. Thank you so much. Your photo is enroute. I don't even care that you chose "The Humpty Dance".
I'm a little embarrassed by all the references/attention you gave me on the podcast. OK, not really. I'm flattered beyond belief!
Once again you all exceeded my expectations.

Who's your friend? Who's your buddy? I am, aren't I?

Forget about Spears, Marissa. Come to the dark (hairless, hyper) side.

I promised myself I wouldn't cry, Bassnote. And now look what you did? Damn you! I'm a mess of mascara and Funyuns.

SEAN'S MY BUDDY!! My Buddy... wherever I go he goooooes. Sorry, that jingle is now forever gonna be on my brain. At least for tonight it will be.
