From Me to You, XOXO, Sean

The Stuck in the '80s crew taped a high-concept show yesterday about good songs from dreadful movies. In an entirely predictable chain of events, the podcast also turned into an Olivia Newton-John drool-a-thon. The show will be shipped to iTunes sometime next week. (It has the best intro ever!) In the meantime, enjoy this delightful journey to yesteryear.

If you squint and stare at the frozen video image, OLJ looks like an all blonde version of our beloved Amanda Overmyer!

You seriously want to make me projectile vomit, eh Steve? You'd have to completely close your eyes and imagine pretty hard that it's Amanda 'Cruella' Overmyer. Ack! I hate you.

I remember Twist of Fate. Not a bad song, actually … takes me back. But, guys, some movies are better forgotten. It took me twenty-five years— yet this morning with one click the wall I had constructed around Two of a Kind came crashing down. What ever happened to the tried and true statement “from a movie which will remain nameless”?

I'm sorry Steve, but Amanda Overmyer can't come close to the lovely ONJ.
