Be Your Own Pet! "The Kelly Affair"

Be Your Own Pet! singer Jemima Pearl is like a cross between a prom queen and the Yeah Yeah Yeah's Karen O. In other words, she's awesome. This song is off the Nashville quartet's new album, "Get Awkward." Dig in!

Hey Sean, it sort of freaks out my son when he sees me doing the shimmy in front of the computer.
He ought to be used to seeing me break out into dance. What I'm saying is great tunage! Weird as hell video.

Yeah, the video is disturbing, but the song is killer. "Beyond the Valley of the Dolls" is the lyrical inspiration.

OK. That is all kinds of awesome to have Beyond the Valley of the Dolls (written by Roger Ebert!) as your lyrical inspiration. Can't watch the video on my iPod (which is SO weird, but that's the way it is) but I will check this out when I can.

Thanks Sean. I was looking for a good party song to finish off a cd I was making. This will do nicely.
