Sean Daly is the pop music critic for the St. Petersburg Times. His CD collection -- from Journey to Dylan, Prince to U2, Public Enemy to Stan Getz -- is much bigger and better than yours. |

With a total of eight vowels in my name, I think I speak with some authority on the makings of a proper meatball. With the exception of the vegetable oil and 9 saltines, Bob's come pretty damn close.
And thank God there is no Evan Dando on his list.

Based simply on this alone, I do believe that I'm a little in love with Bob Dylan.
Any BBQ sauce recipe that calls for a cup of vinegar and a 'secret ingredient' is more than alright with me.
Plus references to Hee Haw, Josie and the Pussycats, Sanford and Son, Shakespeare, GB Shaw, Strangers on a Train, Fast Times at Ridgemont High. And yes, Spinal Tap.
Sigh.

“The Harmonica is the world’s best-selling musical instrument. You’re welcome.”
That's classic.
