Synaptic Misfiring? Dementia?
I woke up with this song in my head. It's been lurking for 22 years, waiting for just the right time to strike. Daryl Hall's "Dreamtime," from 1986's "3 Hearts in the Happy Ending Machine." I blame the Double Filet-O-Fish.

Sean Daly is the pop music critic for the St. Petersburg Times. His CD collection -- from Journey to Dylan, Prince to U2, Public Enemy to Stan Getz -- is much bigger and better than yours.
Wow -- talk about an unearthing from the deepest recesses of MY mind as well.
That Double Filet-O-Fish could very well be the culprit. Better that than mezcal.

I'm a Hall & Oates or just plain Hall goob. Totally dig 'em.
This song, however, hasn't been stuck in my medula oblongata. Or any other part of my brain. Well, that is until now.
The Filet O'Fish giveth; the Filet O'Fish can takesh away.
