The Jeff in Cuba Playlist!!!
For all you loyal Pop Life readers out there -- especially those who partake in our award-winning Idol Chats -- tomorrow is a momentous day for a beloved member of our cyberfamily. After serving this great nation for 23 years, that quick-draw smartaleck Commander Jeffrey M. "Jeff in Cuba" Johnston of Guantanamo Bay is retiring his patriotic underoos.
I'd like to be the first Pop Lifer to congratulate Jeff for his steadfast dedication to the military -- and never letting that steadfast dedication interfere with bashing David Archuleta right here at tampabay.com.
Anyway, Jeff would like to "share the day with my fellow Pop Lifers," and what better way to huzzah our pal than with a celebratory playlist? In the Navy by the Village People, perhaps? Or maybe The First Cut Is the Deepest by Cat Stevens, to salute JiC's withering wit (often at my expense, something that delights the Forever Fiancee). In a touching moment, I'd like to offer up Arthur Fiedler's version of The Stars and Stripes Forever, my favorite flag-waver. So come on, Pop Life! Let's hear it for our boy!

#7.
I believe the technical term is "CHILLAXING"
It's your time to chillax now. Have fun.

Thanks for all the well-wishes and killer song choices. I apologize for not replying sooner, but the last two days have been a blur. But it's all done and I am now retired. The ceremony was great and Rubix Cubed put on a great post-retirement show for everyone.
Thanks again for everything, it means a lot to me to share it with you.

Wait until the war is over
And we're both a little older
The unknown soldier
Breakfast where the news is read
Television children fed
Unborn living, living, dead
Bullet strikes the helmet's head
And it's all over
For the unknown soldier
It's all over
For the unknown soldier
Hut
Hut
Hut ho hee up
Hut
Hut
Hut ho hee up
Hut
Hut
Hut ho hee up
Comp'nee
Halt
Preeee-zent!
Arms!
Make a grave for the unknown soldier
Nestled in your hollow shoulder
The unknown soldier
Breakfast where the news is read
Television children fed
Bullet strikes the helmet's head
And, it's all over
The war is over
It's all over
The war is over
Well, all over, baby
All over, baby
Oh, over, yeah
All over, baby
Wooooo, hah-hah
All over
All over, baby
Oh, woa-yeah
All over
All over
Heeeeyyyy
The Doors The Unknown Soldier lyrics
