'Glee' soundtrack out in stores today (love that Puck cover of 'Sweet Caroline')

The Glee soundtrack just showed up in my mailbox. And although only half of the 17 tracks are inspired, the good stuff is pretty damn great. You know Don't Stop Believin' and Somebody to Love. But my fave is bad-boy Puck's smarmily seductive Sweet Caroline. A man after my own twisted, manipulative heart. Enjoy!

I haven't seen Glee yet and am thinking that I REALLY need to. I love that clip you posted Sean.

Marissa

I'm ridiculously addicted to the show and the tunes. I can't wait to get my copy. Of course, if a certain music critic gets a spare copy I'd be happy to take it off his hands.

I loved the girls mash-up.

Kids Saving Kids

TEEN MUSICIAN TALENT SEARCH: SAVE LIVES WITH YOUR TALENT

Stop Drunk Driving Now's is currently seeking fifty talented performers and bands to appear on the "Kids Saving Kids" CD Compilation Series.

If selected your music will be nationally promoted and marketed to hundreds of thousands of music fans from around the world.

THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO COST TO SUBMIT YOUR MUSIC OR TO APPEAR ON THE CD!!!

The Stop Drunk Driving Now National Spokesperson is Becca Levy. Becca, a thirteen year old singer songwriter from Washington D.C., says the following about her involvement.:

“What better way to use my music than to save other kids lives? Drunk driving affects everyone regardless of his or her age. I hope you will join me in this fight. Together we can all make a difference.”

This unique opportunity for young performers to use their songs to save lives is even more special when you consider that it is FREE for any teenager in the world to download the CD. Whenever anybody goes on the free download page they will be confronted head-on by drunk driving awareness advertising. These public service announcement-type ads have been conceived and created by students from across America.

This is a first of its kind project: never before has the free digital downloading of music been used to raise awareness about the great dangers of drunk driving.

"The cure for drunk driving is information,” says Becca Levy. This project is a great way to promote my music and change the world…even at my age!”

To submit your music for consideration you must submit a MP3 or a WAV file of ONE of your songs. Also include your age, hometown, and YOUR PARENTS’ contact information.

You can submit your music at: ksksubmit@stopddnow.com

You can learn more about Becca Levy and hear her music at www.beccalevy.vom

ADDITONAL REQUIREMENTS:

YOU MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR YOUNGER

YOU MUST HAVE AT LEAST ONE RECORDED ORIGINAL SONG TO SUBMIT

YOU MUST WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE WITH YOUR MUSIC

Hey Michelle: There's a Vol. 2 coming out Dec. 8. Bet that has the mash-ups.

Michelle

Jealous! My Amazon pre-order shipped yesterday. I wish it had the "It's My Life/Confession" mashup on it.
