Go West 'We Close Our Eyes'

I listened to this song about 1,000 times in the winter of '85. (I was 15. What else was I going to do? It was either play Go West or fantasize about Paulina Porizkova. Fortunately, I had plenty of time for both.) Anyway, the Brit duo of Peter Cox (singer) and Richard Drummie (other guy) are still together. But it never got better than this pop confection, the video for which was directed by the sinister Godley & Creme. For some reason, Go West has been showing up in my life lately. I'm just letting the '80s spirits know that I'm paying attention. Play on, Go West, play on.
