JR Reed Update

After defying doctors -- who prior to minicamp told him he would not play football again after a freak leg injury -- Hillsborough High and USF's J.R. Reed made it to the final day of cuts before the Philadelphia Eagles released him Sunday. However, Reed was signed by the St. Louis Rams Monday and is listed as second-team punt and kick returner and third-team safety. For those who saw Reed play at Hillsborough or USF, what were your impressions of him?

Absolute warrior. Watched him at USF for four years and loved the way he played. Glad he got picked up by the Rams...as if Buc fans needed another reason to hate the Eagles.

Even better news coming out of St. Louis for those who have been following this story: It look slike Reed will be returning kickoffs in the Rams' opener.
