Pasco County - Week 5
What a week in Pasco. Lot's of scoring. One undefeated sets up a huge game between Zephyrhills and Gulf next week. Who knows what to make of Mitchell? And Welsey Chapel and Land O'Lakes seem pretty preictable. Oh, and poor Pasco. Man, when are the Pirates going to catch a break. Here are the game stories from Week 5.
Land O'Lakes 28, Pasco 22 (OT)
Zephyrhills 36, Naples Lely 16
Wesley Chapel 41, River Ridge 13
Ridgewood 48, Hudson 16
Gulf 53, Mitchell 43
Bishop McLaughlin 20, The Cambridge School 13

Well in watching Gulf vs Mitchell it just looked like when it was 32-0 that Tate Humphrey on Mitchell's 1st touchdown had figured out Gulf's defense which made it very easy for Humphrey to pick apart, this game looked very similiar to the Citrus-Gulf game last year...With Ridgewood just crushing Hudson in all facets of the game it now begs the question can Ridgewood win a District title this year... I really belive they can do it. With Wesley beating River Ridge 41-13, the score was only 10-3 at halftime, and last week vs Ridgewood it was 14-7 at halftime...it looks like River Ridge just needs to play two halfs instead of 1.....Surprise Surprise Z-hills just whooping up on Lely was a big suprise to me but I guess not to everyone in Z-hills well they sound like the real deal and must be ready for the hugh game vs Gulf next week... and Pasco..Pasco..Pasco...hmmm can someone give these guys a break 2 OT losses in a row and have lost their games by scores of 9-7...22-13...22-18...35-28...and now 28-22, well maybe they are due next week cause Hudson seems like the right medicine with a very young squad I think Pasco will win its 1st game in Dade City next week vs Hudson.
