10th Question: Who's the Best Blogger in Pinellas County?
Just kidding.
Reading Bob and Joe's never-ending list of questions -- Who's the best pooch punter in Pinellas County? Who's the best ball-boy? Who's the best tee jockey (you know, the kid who runs onto the field after the kickoff) -- got me thinking.
Who are the best players in the entire Bay Area?
Give it to me:
Best RB?
Best QB?
Best WR?
Best OL?
Best DL?
Best LB?
Best CB?
Best S?
Best K?
Best P?
And, yes, best blogger?

I think Vincient G. for the Osceola Warriors is special teams kicker in the county. Vinny doesn't get enough credit for what he does but he goes out every game playing his heart out. He loves football and is an outstanding kicker. I don't know his STATS but he hasn't missed a field goal all season and he is an all star player.

Best Blogger award goes to Coach Davis from Countryside. Not only can he always find something to say (aslong as they win anyway) But he can also act like he is someone else. But thats fine we all know who he is. When he was on here. Go Countryside.

im gonna vote for the MVP of bloggers... the all time great Coach Jackass.. i mean Jalazo. Even though this year has been somewhat quite for him and his other bloggers have been able to cover his amazing ability to turn an average CCC team into the only team to hang with Lakeland, Coach J is consistantly the most posted blogger on here.... (Insert music from Budweiser Commercial...) "Coach Jalazo, here's to you and your unrelenting effort to blog" (back ground voice) "Coachhh Jalazzooooooooo" "Hat's off my friend, because with out you Coach" (Background Singer "Coachhh Jackasssss") "Then this St. Pete times blog may have never taken off the ground.... You are a man before your timesss."

My pick is Matt Brown from Seminole High for special teams. The kid is awesome! He averages almost 30 yds. per return and doubled that average at one time against Largo. Oh yea, I forgot. He also plays as Linebacker and running back. Does this kid ever get tired?
Posted by: John Underton | October 26, 2006 at 02:02 PM
definitely best kicker/punter is Evan McKeon. he's a well-rounded student who also has high moral standards. what coach wouldn't want that on your team?

if i have to release a vote for the best blogger in the county it will have to go to L.D. Crow and his father tag teaming the blog every week trying to defend your awful stats
Posted by: | October 27, 2006 at 08:53 AM
I would go with the above blogger. John Davis, John Schroeder, LD, and Pops run an impressive bloggng system. Haven't heard too much lately. It is definitley more fun when they are on here self promoting their average teams. I have to disagree with the stats thing though. You can manipulate stats to show anything. Wins and losses are all that counts. At least that is the way it used to be.
Posted by: go pats | October 27, 2006 at 09:21 AM

i was trying to cut the kid some slack. he is going to stanford. stanford who will be changing staffs after going 0-11. lets don't overblow stanford. they would struggle in 1-aa. his stats are good. there have been a lot of injuries at c-side or his stats would be better. relax bro, you sound like an idiot. don't be so defensive.

I think the best way to determine who's the best is let the coachs vote not the kid's. In the end it all comes out when the All Star team and conference team are picked. There are a lot of good players out there who work hard so as the season comes to a close I'd like to say great job to all of them for all their efforts. There is no "I" in team!!

Look people Chris Sackmann is without a question the best WR in the Bay Area let alone the county. No one stopped him all year, if clearwaters play caller would have recongnized this earlier he would have had 5 touchdowns a game easily. He is also working heavily on his game this spring and will come back next fall with an extra 20-25 pounds of muscle on him. Next year Chris Sackmann and Luke Loucks will destroy the county in stats. Im expecting him to have 15-20 touchdowns at the end of the year, and a D1 scholarship waiting for him. If you are playing in the secondary against this kid you better start running your laps now, he will destroy anyone on the field with him. This kid is hungry, and everytime he steps on the field he has something to prove because of his size. Chris Sackmann = The Untouchable

Jon Williamson has never played football before. He enters his senior year as a slow white boy. I would say stick to baseball but he sucks at that too.
