Central's Harris Orally Committs to Florida A and M
Central running back DuJuan Harris apparently liked his visit to Florida A and M's Tallahassee campus this weekend. According to Bears coach Cliff Lohrey, the running back called FAMU coaches last night to offer his oral committment. Harris was offered a scholarship during his recruiting weekend. Lohrey says FAMU told him Harris was their No. 2 overall recruit on their board.
A 5-foot-8, 185-pound running back, Harris is a Top 10 state sprinter and a shifty runner who gained more than 1,700 yards this season. He ran for over 200 yards in the Bears' heartbreaking playoff loss to Daytona Beach Seabreeze, when Central came within a last-second touchdown of upsetting the state-ranked Snow Crabs.
We're meeting with Harris today after school, so stay tuned to tomorrow's paper to find out what he thought of FAMU.

Congratulations to him. He is very deserving. I think he will make alot of the bigger schools see what they missed.
