Bay Bowl?
As Super Bowl Sunday looms I began thinking of a dream high school matchup in our five county coverage area. Bloggers could vote for their top two teams in Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco, Hernando and Citrus counties and the most votes would deteminre the matchup.
We'd call it the Bay Bowl (or the St. Pete Times Bay Bowl because that's how we roll) and the game will be played annually on the Friday before the Super Bowl (regardless of where the Super Bowl is held) at Raymond James Stadium. (I also realize I missed the boat on this year's matchup, but humor me.)
So I ask:
1. What two teams in our five counties would you like to see go head-to-head at Ray Jay?
2. And because everyone else gets to make a prediction, give us your Super Bowl winner and final score.

jalazo will play anybody his ego allows it. then he will complain about it to whoever will listen.

Colts 31 - Bears 20
CCC are you kidding me? Their competitive level doesn't come anywhere close to 4A and 5A. Doestn't Plant play Jefferson during the regular season last year? Thus year I would have to go with the Champs - Plant vs. Lakeland for the high school Super Bowl.
