Largo's Paschal signs with Eagles
Former Largo standout Marcus Paschal has signed a free agent contract with the Philadelphia Eagles.
The three-year deal, which was finalized shortly following the NFL Draft, puts the Iowa free safety in a "great situation."
Paschal will get to rejoin former Hawkeyes teammate, Eagles safety Sean Considine. Considine, a fourth round pick in 2005, was the Eagles' third -leading tackler last season.
"I can learn a lot from him," Paschal said. "And Brian Dawkins, he's one of the best in the business."
Paschal will also play with another former Pinellas County standout, Eagles DE Darren Howard (Boca Ciega).
Circle the date: On Dec.2, the Eagles host Seattle, which signed former Land O'Lakes receiver Logan Payne (Minnesota). If both Paschal and Payne break mini-camp, the two former Big Ten foes could match up with each other once again...
