Another Sunlake hire

Sunlake, the new Pasco County school set to open in August, has hired Bob Kamps to be its first girls basketball coach. Seahawks athletic director Matt McDermott said an official announcement will be made Monday.
Kamps previously coach at Academy at the Lakes and has extensive basketball coaching experience, McDermott said. McDermott was out of the office and did not have any more information on Kamps.

It will be great for him, he will have no expectations.

If i follow you, when the community sees what a bad coach he is, they have no one to compare him too.

Because no one else would go there????

Any time you get a chance to open a new school it's a great opportunity. You might not have the players that you would like to have at first, but you get a chance to set things up the way you want them - not compared to someone else before you.

Look at all of the trouble at Countryside! Leaving there was probably a blessing for him......

Thats why the old countryside coach went to Sunlake... because no one else would go there.

R U kidding me - Clearwater (State Runner-up) to a school with no senior class. No one in their right mind would want Wiregrass or Sunlake at this point.

Who is this guy? Why not a big impact hire? Did they even try to steal shaneyfelt from clearwater?
