All’s quiet on the Addae front

Addae_2Wondering what’s up with Riverview running back Jahleel Addae?

So were we, which is why I called Addae, a West Virginia commit, this morning to ask about his status. Addae pledged to the Mountaineers several months back, but head coach Rich Rodriguez left for Michigan two weeks ago and West Virginia still hasn’t named his replacement.

“There’s nothing new,” Addae said. “I’m just relaxing, taking it easy.”

Addae politely declined to comment further, but said he might have some answers about his future as early as next week. The senior rushed for more than 1,400 yards this fall. Some, however, expect him to play wide receiver in college.
