CDS completes schedule; to join conference
It didn’t take Carrollwood Day School long to fill out its 2008 football schedule. The Patriots, who only last month decided to jump from six man to 11-man football, have secured 10 opponents for next fall.
CDS will compete as a Class 1B independent.
Additionally, CDS will join an eight-team conference comprised of independent programs at the 1B level. The conference will hold a championship game in 2008.
“Things are good,” Patriots coach Lane McLaughlin said. “Everything is falling together.”
This year, CDS won the six-man Florida Christian Association of Private and Parochial School title.
