Jenkins to visit FAU
Wesley Chapel star Greg Jenkins will visit FAU on Jan. 19, Wildcats coach John Castelamare said. Jenkins is being recruited as an athlete, but Castelamare said the 6-foot-2, 185-pounder also is being considered as a quarterback. Jenkins threw for 927 yards, eight touchdowns and four interceptions last season. The Owls visited Jenkins as recently as Tuesday.
Castelamare said he met FAU coach Howard Schnellenberger at a recent coaches clinic where they spoke briefly about Jenkins. Other schools that have expressed interest include N.C. State and Carson Newman. The Wolfpack could end up offering Jenkins if others players decide to go with other schools.

I though the kid was better than that. Does not seem like Castelamare does a very good job of getting kids into school. Sound like Castelamare had better learn how to read E-mail. Not knowing how to read E-mail is not something to be proud of old man. Might help get a big D1 athelete with test scores better offers than FIU and a small DII school.

FAU is a great school with an even better football team. By the time they have an on-campus stadium (2010), they're going to be one of the best teams in Florida. It would definitely behoove Jenkins to get on the FAU train in any form possible.
