Joyer on Florida's radar

A couple of men walked into Wesley Chapel last week and announced themselves at the front desk.
"Mr. (John) Castelamare," a woman's voice said on the other end of the phone. "A man named Urban Meyer is here to see you."
Apparently, no one in the front office realized it was the University of Florida head football coach along with assistant Dan Mullen. The coaches were in town as part of a Bay area blitz to make various visits to top recruits.
Florida_gators_logo Meyer visited Wesley Chapel junior lineman Kamran Joyer, who recently was featured on flavarsity.com. The 6-foot-3, 320-pounder was invited to an exclusive junior weekend next week on campus.
During Meyer's visit he shot a free throw in the gymnasium while Castelamare, the Wildcats coach, gave him a tour of the football facilities and handed him a couple of T-shirts. The Gators coaches then went over to Weightman Middle to visit Joyer's mother, who works at the school.
"That just made her day," Castelamare said.
