Marshall picks Youngstown State
Clearwater defensive lineman Joe Marshall orally committed to Youngstown State. Marshall received a lot of buzz in the spring had had offers from Wisconsin and Iowa State that were eventually pulled. He visited Youngstown last weekend and said if he got an offer, he would take it.

I'm confused......he said he would take an offer if there was one, or IS there an written offer from YSU? Which is it? BIG difference.

If you go on an offical visit and come back without an offer there will 99% of the time not be an offer.
The kids has great talent but is a lazy jerk. He could not even bother to get down in a stance for a lot of plays.
This sound like a Clearwater coach desperate for GOOD press throwing something up against the wall to see if it sticks.
Wisconsin -> Iowa State -> Youngstown Steate -> Junior College or McDonalds.
No even a Pinellas County All Star team player. Too Lazy.

Joe is a talent and no matter what you think about his talent or laziness he will be an asset to YSU. When he gets in a college and away from Clearwater he should flourish. The truth is there is not much coaching or discipline going on any many high schools these days.
Good Luck Joe. Make Pinellas County proud.

None at Clearwater. Should have had some class and let Rodriquez take over as promised and brougth the program back to its glory days. Instead of circling the drain year after year.

Rodriguez would turn Clearwater into the county powerhouse. Look what he's done at Largo, and Clearwater has a better talent pool. Plus you know all of the kids from greenwwod would want to play for Rodriguez.

The current coach strung him along for years. Promised to retire and give him the job. When he finally realized he had been made a chump he left for Largo. The seemingly senile old idiot is going to run the program into the ground.

Bostic is a great manager of the game. He knows his offense and adjusts with time. Bostic is a great man!

The offers were not pull for Big Joe, the slots for DT were filled before he committed. Anyone in the game or knows that. Look at Leonard John with Michigan, He had a trip there but call and said all spots were taking for cornerbacks. That the process.

BOSTIK IS A JOKE
WHO DOES HE KNOW IN THE COUNTY?
THERE MUST BE SOMEONE UP HIGH THAT LIKES HIM BECAUSE HOW CAN SOMEONE RUN A PROGRAM INTO THE GROUND FOR OVER 20 YEARS AND STILL HAVE A JOBB?

joes a great kid as well as a great athlete,he will do very well.

Joe has shown nothing in high school on the football field except raw potential. On the field he was lazy and undisiplined he is a perfect example of what is wrong with Bostick. Clearwater should be like an Armwood with the talent that man has squandered over the years.
