Tampa Prep's Sienkiewicz commits to USF

Tampa Prep senior goalkeeper Brad Sienkiewicz has orally committed to South Florida, his father, Frank told the Times Friday.

Sienkiewicz, a four-year starter, backstops the defending state champion Terps, which plays St. Stephen's in the region final Friday.

Sienkiewicz picked USF over Stetson and Division II Lynn and the University of Tampa, where his club coach, Adrian Bush, runs the program.

"I think he wanted to stay close to home," Frank Sienkiewicz said. "USF is gonna be a great program in a few years. They're already top-25, but they're gonna be great."
