Brandon guard has one offer, another coming?

Brandon guard Tarron Stewart has one Division I scholarship offer, and it appears likely he will have a second fairly soon, Eagles coach Mark Hermann said. Longwood, which is located in Virginia, was the first to pull the trigger. Now, it looks like the Citadel will do the same. Stewart is expected to visit the school sometime in April. "Any time you bring a kid in on a visit, there's pretty much an offer on the table," Hermann said. The Citadel plays in the Southern Conference, the same league as Davidson, which just reached the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament. Stewart, a 6-foot guard, averaged 16 points a game as a senior for the Eagles, who reached the Class 5A final four. He led Brandon with 16 points in a state semifinal loss to Lakewood.
