Cambridge star to sign with Quincy

85_erik_shearsCambridge Christian linebacker Erik Shears has committed to Quincy University, Lancers coach Rick Shears said Monday via e-mail.

Shears visited the campus last weekend.

He pledged to head coach Bill Terlisner and the NAIA Hawks during his trip to the school, which is located in Quincy, Illinois (approximately two hours north of St. Louis, Missouri).
